1 Chronicles 6:12

And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,

Ahitub beget Zadok. This succession of the same names as in 1 Chronicles 6:7 is suspicious and as there is no historical record of a second Ahitub and a second Zadok their insertion here is owing to the error of a copyist.
