Daniel 9:15

And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.

O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt - a proof to all ages that the seed of Abraham is thy covenant-people. That ancient benefit gives us hope that thou wilt confer alike one on us now, under similar circumstances (Psalms 80:8; Jeremiah 23:7; ).

And hast gotten thee renown, as at this day - is known.
