And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.

I will make them and the places round about my hill - the Jews, and Zion, God's hill (), are to be sources of blessing, not merely to themselves, but to the surrounding pagan (; Isaiah 56:6; ; ; , "As ye were a curse among the pagan, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing").
