Isaiah 24:18

And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

Noise of the fear - the shout designed to rouse the game and drive it into the pitfall.

Shall fall into the pit ... for the windows from on high are open - taken from the account of the deluge (): the flood-gates. So the final judgments of fire on the apostate world are compared to the deluge (2 Peter 3:5).
