Isaiah 29:23

But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.

But when he - Jacob.

His children, the work of mine hands - spiritually, as well as physically (; ; ). By Yahweh's agency Israel shall be cleansed of its corruptions, and shall consist wholly of pious men (Isaiah 54:13; ).

In the midst of him - i:e., of his land. Or else, "His children" are the Gentiles adopted so as to be among the Israelites, his lineal descendants (; ) (Horsley).
