Not valiant for the truth - (). Maurer translates, 'They do not prevail by truth' or faith (, "With our tongue will we prevail"). Their tongue, not faith, is their weapon.

Upon the earth - rather, 'in the land.'

They know not me - (, "There is no knowledge of God in the land").
