Psalms 105:6

O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.

O ye seed of Abraham his servant - the ground of hope to the afflicted Jews: they are 'the seed of Abraham, God's servant' or client (), and are therefore heirs of God's promises to Abraham and Jacob ().

Ye children of Jacob his chosen. The parallelism favours the Hebrew reading of our manuscript, whereby "His chosen," is genitive singular, and agrees with "Jacob." But the present Hebrew text has the plural agreeing with "ye children:" accords with this (cf. ).
