Psalms 118:20

Christ, "the King of glory," first comes in through the "everlasting doors" of the heavenly city, to make the way for us also to enter (). Compare the 'Te Deum' hymn of Ambrose, 'When thou hadst overcome the sharpness of death, thou didst open the kingdom of heaven to all believers.'
