Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.

Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them - "wonderful" in respect to their Author, God, their subject matter, truth without any mixture of error, and their end, salvation for lost man. Though commonplace in the blinded view of worldly men, yet to him who 'keeps' them, they are wonderful in the revelations which they give of glorious and everlasting truths never fathomed before (Isaiah 64:3; 1 Corinthians 2:7).
