Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.

Thou art near, O Lord; and all thy commandments (are) truth - (.) My enemies draw near (), but thou art far nearer to me than they (; ). The second clause gives the reason why He is near to His people-namely, because He has promised it in connection with obedience to "His commandments." "All thy commandments," with the threats and promises attached to them, are truth itself.
