1 Samuel 20:41

And as soon as the lad was gone, David arose out of a place toward the south, for on that side of the rock he had concealed himself, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed himself three times, both to do Jonathan honor and gratefully to acknowledge his efforts in his behalf; and they kissed one another, and wept one with another, until David exceeded, until David broke out in loud weeping.
