Thus saith the Lord God, In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, instead of the goat prescribed by Moses for similar occasions, Numbers 28:15, and cleanse the Sanctuary, by a sacrifice of purification according to the ancient rite;
