Jeremiah 50:42

They shall hold the bow and the lance, weapons of attack; they are cruel and will not show mercy, give no quarter in battle; their voice shall roar like the sea, in their fierce battle-cry, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array like a man to the battle, all of them a unit in their desire to work mischief, against thee, O daughter of Babylon. The very words the prophet used to describe the calamity which would come upon Judah, Jeremiah 6:22, are here used to picture the destruction which would strike the Chaldeans.
