‘And behold, a man named Joseph, who was a councillor, a good and righteous man,'

It is a shining reminder that within the corrupted nation were those whose lives were still lived before God. He ‘was a councillor'. He had his place on the Sanhedrin. And yet he was also good and righteous. God had His representatives in high places, as well as low.
