Jeremiah 6:25

Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy [and] fear [is] on every side.

Ver. 25. Go not out into the field.] Since there is "no peace to him that goeth out, nor to him that cometh in"; 2Ch 15:5 but

“ Luctus ubique, pavor, et plurima mortis imago. ”
