Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Ver. 17. Seest thou not what they do?] a And hast thou yet a heart to pray for them? and should I yet have a heart to pity them? There is only this hope left sometimes, that something God will yield to the prayers of his people, even when he is most bitterly bent against them.
