22. ἐβουλόμην καὶ αὐτὸς τοῦ�, I was wishing [Rev. Ver. ‘could wish’] also to hear the man myself. Agrippa intimates that he knew something of the Apostle and his labours, as indeed was not unlikely, and that in consequence he had for some time been desirous to see and hear St Paul.
