μὴ ἑτοιμάσας. The μὴ is used because it gives the supposed reason for the slave’s punishment. Exceptional privileges if rejected involve exceptional guilt and punishment, Luke 10:13; James 4:17; 2 Peter 2:21.

δαρήσεται πολλάς. Sub. πληγάς. Similarly we find in Plato, μαστιγοῦσθαι πληγάς. Comp. 2 Corinthians 11:24, πεντήκοντα παρὰ μίαν ἔλαβον. This cognate accusative is common in classic Greek.
