It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption Cf. Romans 8:21; Colossians 2:22; 2 Peter 1:4 for corruption(in the Greek). And for incorruptionsee Romans 2:7; Ephesians 6:24 (margin), 2 Timothy 1:10, and Titus 2:7. The English version in the first and third of these passages renders by immortality, in the second and fourth by sincerity. The rendering in the text is the more accurate.
