Shoco R.V. Soco. The cities hitherto mentioned were situated in the Hill Country, but the position of the Socohere mentioned and Adullamis uncertain. Two places bore the name Socoor Socoh, one situated in the Shephelah (Joshua 15:35; 1 Samuel 17:1, R.V.), and one in the Hill Country ("the mountains," Joshua 15:48). For Adullam cp.
