hath done nothing amiss Literally, "did nothing out of place" (like our "out of the way," i.e. nothing unusual or wrong). The word prasso in both clauses implies grave actions (see Luke 23:51), and this testimony implies entireinnocence. It is the broadest possible acquittal. The word atoposoccurs in 2 Thessalonians 3:2.
