COMMENTS

Ask any modern Israeli to explain

the fantastic success of his little country against impossible odds in the

four wars they have fought and he will reply, We know why we are fighting. Zechariah foresees the weakest of them as strong as David, inspired by the knowledge that God is on their side. (cp. Zechariah 12:5)
