Because he is merciful and tender, he is about to act in history to cause the bright dawn of salvation to rise on us. The Good News will tell that condemnation can be taken away, and men [and women] can be "put right with God." See Romans 8:1-4; John 3:16-17; Ephesians 2:4-10.
