Amos 6:14

AMOS—NOTE ON Amos 6:14 Amos says the little victories of v. Amos 6:13 will be nothing compared to the destruction that is to come. Lebo-hamath was in the far north, in the valley between the Lebanon and the Anti-Lebanon Mountains. The Brook of the Arabah is in the valley in the far south between the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba. The Assyrian conquest would cover the whole land, not just a few isolated cities.
