Exodus 38:8

EXODUS—NOTE ON Exodus 38:8 The mirrors given by the women were highly polished pieces of bronze. They were probably among the treasures brought out of Egypt during the exodus (see Exodus 12:36). The original readers of Exodus 1:1 would have understood the role of the women who ministered in the entrance of the tent of meeting, but it is not explained anywhere else in the OT. It is referred to elsewhere only in connection with the sin of Eli’s sons (see 1 Samuel 2:22).
