EZEKIEL—NOTE ON Ezekiel 46:8 The movements of prince and people are coordinated for festival gatherings. The prince’s use of the east gate is allowed only on certain occasions (v. Ezekiel 46:8). The movement of the crowd (v. Ezekiel 46:9) is clear, although no explanation is offered. Every worshiper uses the outer court. Passing by the east gate makes them aware of the holy inner court as well.
