Leviticus 26:34-39

LEVITICUS—NOTE ON Leviticus 26:34 When the people are punished by being pushed out of the land, the land will benefit by having rest (compare Leviticus 25:2). The verb enjoy is a personification: the land will be purified and recover its holiness.
