Proverbs 23:17,18

PROVERBS—NOTE ON Proverbs 23:17 Instead of envying those who ignore God’s way, pleasing the Lord should be the believer’s top priority (v. Proverbs 23:17). Such a path is the only true hope for a future (see Proverbs 24:14, Proverbs 24:20; Psalms 37:9, Psalms 37:34, Psalms 37:37).
