Proverbs 5:15-18

PROVERBS—NOTE ON Proverbs 5:15 The wife is pictured as a source of water (well, fountain, etc.). The man who is tempted to commit adultery should think about how he would feel if his wife were to do the same (Should your springs be scattered abroad, streams of water in the streets?). He should be faithful to her just as he wants her to be faithful to him.
