ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ οἰκίᾳ : verbally distinct from ἐν τῇ αὐτῇ, etc., but really meaning the same thing = “in that same house,” R. V [100] τὰ παρʼ αὐτῶν, eating and drinking the meat and drink which belong to them, as if they were your own: libere et velut vestro jure, Grotius. ἄξιος γὰρ assigns the reason: your food is your hire; it belongs to you of right as wages for work done.
