σπουδαίως, earnestly; though he was a Pagan, they Jews, for reason given. ἄξιος ᾧ παρέξῃ, for ἄξιος ἵνα αὐτῷ π. παρέξῃ is the 2nd person singular, future, middle, in a relative clause expressing purpose instead of the more usual subjunctive (vide Burton, § 318).
