The parable of the two debtors, an original feature in the story. χρεωφειλέται : here and in Luke 16:5, only, in N.T. δανειστῇ (here only in N.T.): might mean a usurer, but his behaviour in the story makes it more suitable to think of him simply as a creditor. ὁ εἶς ὤφειλε : even the larger sum was a petty debt, whereby Simon would be thrown off his guard: no suspicion of a personal reference.
