τῇ π. ἡμέρᾳ τ. ἀ. ὅτε τ. πάσχα ἔθυον : again a double note of time, the second clause indicating precisely that by the first day is meant the 14th Nisan. Schanz, following the Greek Fathers, takes πρώτῃ in the first clause as = προτέρᾳ, yielding the same sense as πρὸ τ. ἑορ. τ. πάσχα in John 13:1. ποῦ θέλεις : the disciples would ask this question in good time, say in the forenoon of the 14th.
