8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

You would think that John would have got the message when the other angel rebuked him for falling to worship him. It should be apparent that angels appear as if they were Gods to men, as does Satan. In any case, it is clear that angels are not to be worshiped and righteous ones do not even want to be worshiped. That should make it quite clear they we should not have statues of angels around for luck or favor.  That is idolatry and it is quite insulting to the angels. Angels in scripture are never feminine, never cute and are never to be idolized; they are powerful servants of God who carry out His will.  The angel in this passage calls anyone who keeps the sayings of this book a fellow servant. That is quite an honor for people of flesh. What a destiny the redeemed of the Lord have!
