Acts 2:1, than that they were introduced as an interpolation from 1 Corinthians 14:1,” ³⁴⁸ it is much more probable that the Western form of text arose by scribal embroidering of the Alexandrian text than that the text in all known Greek manuscripts has been curtailed because of what might possibly be regarded as an inconsistency with the account of Pentecost in Acts 2:1.
