John 6:64 ti,nej eivsi.n oi` mh. pisteu,ontej kai, {B}

The omission of these words from several witnesses (î66* 1344* ite syrc, s) is no doubt the result of oversight in transcription, occasioned perhaps by homoeoarcton (ti,nejti,j). The omission of mh, by a Xcomm al is less easy to account for, but it may be the result of a desire to indicate that Jesus knew his own, rather than those who were not his own. The parallelism, however, with the first part of the verse seems to require the presence of the negative.
