Romans 10:1 auvtw/n {A}

The shortest reading auvtw/n is decisively supported by early and representative witnesses of several types of text (î46 a* A B D G 1739 1881 1962 itd*, g syrp, pal copsa, bo goth al). The addition of evstin (ac K P Y 33 81 614 it61 syrh al) seems to have been made in the interest of clarifying the grammar, while the addition of tou/ VIsrah,l (K 81 326 614 1241 Byz Lect al) may have occurred when this verse was made the beginning of a lesson read in church services (cf. the reference to Israel in Romans 9:31).
