The impulse to identify the origin of h` ca,rij in the benediction prompted copyists to insert tou/ kuri,ou (D) or tou/ qeou/ (F G vg). Influence from 2 Timothy 4:22 accounts for the substitution of meta. tou/ pneu,mato,j sou in 33, and for the addition of kai. meta. tou/ pneu,mato,j sou in 81. The concluding avmh,n (a^c D^c F G H Y al) is obviously secondary, for the word is absent in a variety of early and diverse witnesses (î^61vid a* A C D* 048 1739 1881 al), and the temptation for copyists to add the liturgical conclusion would be great.
