2 Samuel 15:1-37

Contents: Absalom steals the love of ten tribes. David's flight.

Conclusion: He who steals one heart away from another by means of innuendos is the vilest of robbers, and especially when professed devotion to God is used as a pretext to carry out the design. (2 Samuel 15:7).
