A.M. 3474. B.C. 530.

This Psalm is generally thought to have been composed by Ezra, at, or soon after, the return of the Jews from the Babylonish captivity. Here the children of Zion describe the joy consequent upon their restoration, Psalms 126:1. Pray to God to bring back the rest of their countrymen, Psalms 126:4. Foresee and predict the success of their labours, in rebuilding their ruined city and temple, and cultivating again their desolated country, Psalms 126:5; Psalms 126:6.
