Coke's Commentary on the Holy Bible

1 Chronicles 6:14

Azariah begat Seraiah, &c.— Seraiah was put to death by Nebuchadnezzar. In him ended the succession of high-priests under the first temple. Their number from Zadok amounted to twelve.
