2 Chronicles 10:16

16 And when all Israel saw that the king would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? and we have none inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: and now, David, see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents.

Israel

"Israel," the ten tribes other than Judah and Benjamin, often called "Israel" in distinction from Judah. The division of the kingdom marks an epoch of great importance in the history of the nation. Henceforth it is "a kingdom divided against itself." (Matthew 12:25). The two kingdoms are to be reunited in the future kingdom. (Isaiah 11:10); (Jeremiah 23:5); (Jeremiah 23:6); (Ezekiel 37:15).
