1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.

In chapters 32-35, the same blended meanings of near and far fulfilments are found. The near view is still of Sennacherib's invasion, the far view of the day of the Lord. (Isaiah 2:10); (Revelation 19:11) and the kingdom blessing to follow.
