And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath,.... The Targum is, "Miriam, who was called Ephrath"; but, according to Josephus q, it was his son Hur that was the husband of Miriam the sister of Moses:

which bare him Hur; Exodus 17:10.
