1. City in which 10,000 of the Canaanites and Perizzites were slain, to be possessed by Judah. Judges 1:4, Judges 1:1. Identified with Bezkah, 31 53' N, 34 58' E.
2. Place where Saul numbered the army before he slew the Ammonites, 1 Samuel 11:8, apparently near the centre of Palestine. Identified with Ibzik, 32 22' N, 35 24' E.
