A word occurring in the headings of Psalms 4; Psalms 6; Psalms 54; Psalms 55; Psalms 61; Psalms 67; Psalms 76. It is supposed to signify in the plural 'on stringed instruments,' as it is translated in Habakkuk 3:19. Neginah, the singular, occurs only in Psalms 61.
