1. Son of Gershom and 'ruler of the treasures' of the house of God. 1 Chronicles 23:16; 1 Chronicles 1:26.

2. Son of Heman: appointed to the service of song. 1 Chronicles 1:25. Called SHUBAEL in 1 Chronicles 25:20.
