Joses jo'-sez, jo'-zez (Ioses): (1) One of the brethren of Jesus (Mark 6:3; in Matthew 13:55 the Greek is "Joseph," and the Revised Version (British and American) so renders).

(2) A son of Mary, perhaps identical with (1) (Matthew 27:56, Mark 15:40, Mark 15:47).
