(1) An Edomite name mentioned in connection with Lotan, Zibeon and Anah, as that of a "son" of Seir (Genesis 36:20), the father of a clan (Genesis 36:23), and a Horite "duke" ('alluph) (Genesis 36:29, 1 Chronicles 1:38, 1 Chronicles 1:40).

(2) A Calebite, the father (possibly of the inhabitants) of Kiriath-jearim (1 Chronicles 2:50, 1 Chronicles 2:52).

(3) A Judahite, perhaps to be identified with (2) above (1 Chronicles 4:1).
