HADADEZER OR HADAREZER
A powerful king of Syria, reigning in Zobah and the surrounding country, even to the Euphrates, 1 Kings 11:23. He was thrice defeated and his power overthrown by David, 2 Samuel 8:3, 2 Samuel 1:8; 2 Samuel 1:10; 2 Samuel 1:16 1 Chronicles 18:3; 1 Chronicles 1:19.
